Laurie Cunningham Statue

Laurie Cunningham Statue

All football fans will remember the name Laurie Cunningham, the first black player to represent England at any level.

He was to win a total of six caps for England and was first British player to transfer to Real Madrid. He died in 1989 in Spain, tragically early in his illustrious career. Leyton Orient and Waltham Forest council are commemorating Laurie Cunningham’s years at Brisbane Road by launching a fund raising campaign to commission a statue by noted sculptor Graham Ibbeson, famed for his statues of sporting figures such as Don Revie, Fred Truman and Dickie Bird as well as his iconic Eric Morecombe. We were honoured to be asked to design the campaign material and attend the campaign launch at Leyton Orient grounds.

We are pleased to announce the target for fundraising was met and the majestic 2.2m high statue was unveiled outside the Leyton Orient stadium in November 2017.

Paper merchant Antalis McNaughton has an interesting product called Stafix, a printable static cling film that can be repeatedly applied to most surfaces.

The product is 100% recyclable polypropylene and completely adhesive-free. It can be applied to stone, plastic, metal, fabric, ceramics, flooring, glass and wood. It’s suggested use is point of purchase advertising, street marketing campaigns, advertising campaigns, magazine inserts and promotional posters.

The film has the characteristics of a double-sided sticker and can be repeatedly repositioned without leaving a residue or damaging surfaces.

Digital print upgrade

Digital print upgrade

Due to the increased demand in short run printing we have upgraded to a Xerox DocuColor 700

Our old DC240 had been struggling for a while to keep up with the orders so we’ve replaced it with the next range up. The new DC700 is a 70 page per minute full colour SRA3 printer. It boasts a superior image quality at 2400 x 2400lpi and greater duplexing accuracy. We added extra input trays for greater capacity, a heavy weight cover inserter and a production finisher to fold leaflets into various formats and create stitched booklets inline.
